Once upon a time there was a five year old child.

he went asleep one night and woke up in an empty abandoned theme park

there were broken rides
broken faces on the ground everywhere he stepped

everything croaked and creaked and he grazed around cautiously

friends as broken toys
eyes and mouths sewn shut

he was unable to speak

voice boxes and tracks on repeat

he went to go find a solution being the pure child he was

and went over to the ink lake at the edge of the foggy and murky park
and saw this in his reflection

being the confused kid he was, he did not realize this creature had reached out his claws and had consumed him in the inky lake
the monsters groggy smoke completely blinding him vision with false hopes and lies

the beating red eyes eating up his courage and bravery

the black sticky claws clenching him and taking his breath to where she would wheeze out the secrets of his fears

taking him and submerging him into the blackness and utter despair

and no one could hear his blood curdling cries and screams from the ink sinking into him and absorbing his body in the water

He woke up in a confused and crying sweat

little did he know that this creature would engulf him in this same dream more than this time

he encountered this grotesque thing more than five times

it has been haunting his dreams ever since he was five years old and has been ever since

to this day
He is afraid of many things due to this creature as it would appear in his nightmares so sudden

and he will remember this dream as it was so vivid that it could bring tears to his eyes to this day
